JW GROUP supplies bright annealed stainless steel tubing for industrial equipment, process systems, and OEM projects.

BA describes the surface condition produced by bright annealing. Specify the grade, dimensions, cleanliness, and inspection scope for your application.

Grades, Dimensions & Specification Requirements

- Grades: 304, 304L, 316, and 316L stainless steel
- Manufacturing: cold drawing; straight tubing
- Surface condition: bright annealed (BA)
- Hardness: soft condition, HRB ≤ 90 as listed for the applicable product specification
- Specification references: ASTM A213, ASTM A269, or ASTM A270, subject to the tubing construction and application. State the exact required standard and edition in your RFQ.

- Outside diameter: 6–50 mm (approximately 0.236–1.969 in.)
- Wall thickness: 0.5–2.11 mm (approximately 0.020–0.083 in.)
- Straight lengths: 6 or 12 m (approximately 19.7 or 39.4 ft)Inch values above are conversions of the listed metric range, not a separate tolerance specification. Confirm the available OD × wall thickness combination and ordered length.
- Inspection: pressure testing, eddy-current testing, and internal inspection are subject to the applicable specification and agreed scope. Include any mandatory MTR, traceability, or test-report requirements in your RFQ.

Internal Cleaning Process

We clean the inside of the tubing using a water-driven sponge:

1. Insert a sponge into one end of the tube.

2. Use water pressure to push the sponge through the tube to remove dust, residual acid, and debris.

3. Repeat the cleaning process several times.

4. Use compressed air to remove the remaining water.

5.Place the tubing in a drying oven.
