Seamless Coiled Tubing

- Materials: TP304, TP304L, TP316, TP316L stainless steel
- Standards: ASTM A269 / EN 10216-5
- Outside diameter: 1/4 in. to 1 in.
- Wall thickness: 0.020 in. to 0.083 in.
- Maximum continuous length: Up to 3,280 ft (1,000 m) per coil
- Maximum coil weight: Up to 330 lb (150 kg)
- Surface: Bright annealed; Ra ≤ 0.4 μm available for applicable specifications

Seamless coils receive endoscopic inspection and hydrostatic testing, with test pressure capability up to 7,250 psi (50 MPa) according to the product specification.

Welded Coiled Tubing

- Grades: TP201, TP304/304L, TP316/316L, other specified grades
- Standard: ASTM A269 / ASTM A249, depending on application
- Outside diameter: 1/8 in. to 2 in.
- Wall thickness: 0.020 in. to 0.083 in.
- Maximum length: Up to 9,840 ft (3,000 m)
- Processes: Laser beam welding, TIG / argon-arc welding, bright annealing, and online cold drawing

Online cold drawing improves weld-seam uniformity and brings the mechanical performance and surface condition closer to seamless tubing. Inspection stages include online weld-line monitoring, online eddy-current testing, and 100% air-pressure testing.

Why Choose Seamless Coiled Tubing?

Seamless coiled tubing is manufactured without a longitudinal weld seam, making it suitable for applications where pressure capability, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability are important.

Long continuous lengths can also reduce fittings, potential leak points, and installation time.

Why Choose Welded Coiled Tubing?

Welded coiled tubing supports industrial applications requiring long continuous lengths, dimensional consistency, and corrosion resistance.

Controlled welding, cold working, and heat treatment can improve weld-seam uniformity and help achieve mechanical and surface characteristics closer to seamless tubing.
